MS Office Error: There Is Insufficient Memory Or Disk Space. Word Cannot Display The Requested Font
Date Added: 8/17/2017

This error message is wrong. Microsoft uses it for many different reasons, so the message is completely unhelpful. Bad Microsoft!

In our case, it seems there's something wrong with one of the 3rd party fonts we were using. We deleted the Normal.docm file, we reinstalled Office, ran temp file and registry cleaners, rebooted, ran sfc, ran dism, and still had the error. If we create a brand new document and switch the font to Tabitha then Word would give that error, act funny, and would not use that font.

Here's what you should do if you have that problem:
1) Open regedit
2) Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts
3) Find the font on that list and see where the font file is stored. In our case, it was in a Broderbund folder, not the windows Fonts folder.
4) That pointed us to research Broderbund, which apparently develops the old Print Shop program, which apparently installed a bunch of fonts.
5) From there, we either needed to repair that software, update it to the latest version, or uninstall it and stop using those fonts.
