Remove overlays or unwanted elements from webpage
Date Added: 8/30/2021

If a webpage pops up an unwanted overlay that covers the content, you can easily remove it.

A browser extension called "Behind the Overlay" makes it easy, but then you'd have another extension running in your browser, along with the usual security risks.

Or, you can do it manually:
1) Press Ctrl+Shift+C. This should open the browser's developer tools.
2) Click on the element
3) Press Delete on your keyboard. The element should disappear.
4) Press Escape on your keyboard to close the developer tools.
